Join us Saturday, August 22, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the south parking lot at City Hall for our annual Community Shred Day. 

The City and CWD partner to offer individuals a convenient and free opportunity to shred confidential paperwork such as old bank statements, tax documents, personal records, etc.

 This event is for residential documents only and is limited in quantity of not more than the volume of three regular household trash bags, per address. Proof of Colleyville residency required.

In an effort to move the line as efficiently as possible, we ask that you separate all non-paper items. Examples include binders, paper clips, folders with metal clamps, and binder clips.

What do you consider a “regular household trash bags”?

We consider 13 gallons to be a regular household size.

I have other items besides paper that need to be disposed of, can I bring them with me?

Additionally, we will have our Annual Clean Sweep event each Spring with stations to dispose of hazardous waste, bulk trash, shredding, electronics, and automotive tires.
