If your cart is damaged and in need of repair or replacement, call CWD at 972.392.9300. Residents can also swap their 65-gallon recycle cart for a 95-gallon cart at no additional cost by calling CWD.

Service Guidelines

  • Have your cart curbside or at the street by 7:00 a.m. on your collection day (See map for collection days)
  • Place the cart at least three feet from any vehicle or structure such as mailboxes, utility meters, poles, fences, etc. This allows room for the automated truck to pick up the cart.
  • The front of the cart (non-handle side) should be facing the street. The cart must be placed close enough to the curb or street for the truck to reach it.
  • All recycle materials should be contained within the cart and the lid should be closed.
