Colleyville residents can shop for local organic produce or artisan goods while getting to know the men and women that harvested or crafted them at weekly outdoor farmers markets starting in March.
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, 30-40 vendors will sell various offerings including organic produce, meats, cheeses, eggs, honey, salsa, and jams, and crafted items such as candles, artwork, woodcrafts, and clothes. Four Seasons Markets will use the area just south of City Hall.
The City chose to work with Four Seasons because of their reputation as the leading provider of farmer’s markets across North Texas. They’ve brought successful European-style farmer’s markets to several communities including Flower Mound, Highland Village, Dallas, Richardson, and Irving.
Four Seasons Markets has a network of more than 400 local vendors. Vendors sign up to participate each week so the Colleyville market will see a variety of farmers and artisans based on local tastes and what’s in season.
