What is the best way to save water?
To save water at home, you can: fix leaks, take shorter showers, turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, only run the dishwasher and washing machine when full, install water-efficient appliances like low-flow showerheads and toilets, and use a watering can instead of a hose for outdoor plants; essentially, only use water when necessary and avoid letting it run continuously.
How much water does my pool use?
During summer, an uncovered swimming pool typically loses about a quarter-inch of water per day due to evaporation, though this can vary based on factors like wind, temperature, humidity, and pool size. Consider covering pools in the winter and as often as is feasible in the summer months.
