The Streets Division of Public Works maintains and programs school zone lights and pedestrian flashing lights, replaces faded or knocked down street signs, and ensures traffic signals are maintained and operating.

Residential Streetlight Outages

Residential streetlights are maintained by the electric companies. Use the following links or phone numbers to report outages directly to the electric companies, or contact Public Works and we will take your request and forward it to the appropriate entity.

Traffic Signals

Traffic controls establish which vehicles have the right-of-way, improve traffic flow and reduce intersection delays. Examples include yield signs, stop signs, traffic signals and turn prohibition signs. The Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD), a state-wide set of standards for traffic control devices, has very specific guidelines and criteria for the proper use and placement of intersection control.

The traffic signals along Colleyville Boulevard as well as the signals at Glade Road and Heritage Avenue and Cheek-Sparger Road and Brown Trail are maintained by the Streets Division.
