The Colleyville Fire Department’s Kids Fire Camp provides campers with unforgettable experiences. Instructed by real firefighters, kids get hands-on experience in the day-to-day skills required to be a firefighter while gaining a sense of individual responsibility and team work. Campers learn CPR, first aid, and everything about firefighting in this hands-on, interactive camp.
The camp will run for two whole days with one half day. The camp will be conducted at the Colleyville Central Fire Station, 5209 Colleyville Blvd. It’s open to boys and girls ages 9-13 only; Colleyville residents are given first priority. Cost for the camp is $100; registration is required.
Money raised from the Kids Fire Camp goes to the Colleyville Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association. The CFAAA gives back to the fire department through funding special projects for our firefighters. The CFAAA also staffs and supplies the rehab vehicle that keeps firefighters cool and hydrated on fire scenes.
