The City of Colleyville has launched a beautification program aimed at helping residents and HOAs improve and enhance the character of the City by funding tree plantings adjacent to high visibility roadways. 

Program Information 

 Under this program, residents and HOAs may be eligible for grant funding to put towards the planting and installation of parkway trees and irrigation. Participants can receive a grant of half (50%) of the total project cost, not to exceed $10,000.

Program Parameters and Process

• Grants will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis dependent upon the availability of funds. Grant funding will be awarded as a reimbursement following an on-site inspection by the Urban Forester.
• No grant will be awarded for work that has already been initiated or completed. Residents and HOAs must apply for the grant before work has begun.
• Applications will be required to provide a site plan showing the proposed planting locations, irrigation, and proposed tree species. Applications will include a maintenance plan and a signed maintenance agreement.
• Complete application and submit to the Urban Forester. 
• The staff Beautification Grant Committee will review each project.
• Residents and HOAs will be notified of project approval and funding amount shortly after the committee meeting. 
• Grant funding will be awarded as a reimbursement following an on-site inspection by the Urban Forester. 
• Grant recipients will receive a Form 1099 for tax purposes from the City of Colleyville.

Phase 1 of the grant program will be focused on tree plantings along roadways identified in the Eligible Streets Map. During Phase 1, plantings will be limited to a select number of species identified in the Street Tree List.
