Cheek Sparger Road Resurfacing Project

Work to start Friday, October 12

Post Date:10/10/2018 10:45 AM

The Cheek-Sparger Road Rehabilitation Project to resurface the roadway will start on October 12. This project is a coordinated effort between the City of Colleyville and Tarrant County to resurface Cheek-Sparger Road from Bedford Road to Heritage Avenue. This partnership results in a substantial amount of savings to the City.

Cheek-Sparger will be reduced to one-way traffic (westbound travel only) between the hours of 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. while contractors repair the road. We anticipate the project will take approximately 8-10 weeks to complete, depending upon weather conditions. The project will be split into four phases.

Phase I – Silverwood Lane to Martin Pkwy
Phase II – Martin Pkwy to Buckingham Place
Phase III – Tamblewood Drive to Ashbury Lane
Phase IV – Ashbury Lane to Bedford Road

As with any construction project, we anticipate inconveniences and will do what we can to limit the impact this has on our residents. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we move forward with this much-needed project. Please contact the Public Works office at 817.503.1090 or by email at engineers@colleyville.com if you have any questions.
