Titan Drill Site Update
Surface casings have been completed for three of the six well bores and drilling has commenced on these three wells. Surface casing involves installing steel pipe and pouring concrete around the pipe to a depth of approximately 1,700 feet for the purpose of protecting the groundwater supply during drilling. The three wells with the completed casing will be drilled to a depth of 8,500 feet before the remaining three wells are cased and drilled.
To reduce the negative effects of drilling on the surrounding neighborhoods, the following measures have been implemented:
· Noise blankets were installed around the generators on the pad site on Saturday, March 5, to reduce off-site generator noise; More information and video

To reduce the negative effects of drilling on the surrounding neighborhoods, the following measures have been implemented:
· Noise blankets were installed around the generators on the pad site on Saturday, March 5, to reduce off-site generator noise;
· To reduce nighttime illumination, amber colored lenses were installed on the derrick lights on Sunday, March 6;
· On Monday, March 7, an additional 24-hour noise monitoring station was installed approximately 900 feet west of the pad site, adjacent to the Monticello neighborhood, for the purpose of better gauging noise levels next to homes in Monticello;
· Because of additional noise created by drilling through sub-surface rock formations, Titan added shock-absorbers to the rig apparatus on Tuesday, March 8, to reduce vibrations;
· Titan has installed an additional 32-foot-high wall of sound blankets to further mitigate the effects of drilling noise on residents living west of the pad site.
