Two-Day-A-Week Water Restrictions Lifted

The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) lifted Stage 1 water restrictions across Tarrant County on Monday, May 18. Stage 1 restrictions had been in effect since June 2013.

The only mandatory restriction that will remain in place in Colleyville is the prohibition on outdoor watering from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. However, residents throughout Tarrant County are encouraged to continue conserving water and reminds everyone that watering twice a week is both sufficient and beneficial for most lawns in North Texas. Conservation-minded residents can continue the twice-a-week schedule provided in the city’s water conservation program or simply limit watering to two days of their choosing.
