Colleyville Police Department Application Process

The department is part of PACT (Police Agency Combined Testing) comprised of the six cities of Colleyville, Euless, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills and Southlake.  The cities have joined together to recruit the best and most qualified police officer applicants in the area.  PACT provides one test with multiple opportunities to become an officer.

For full testing requirements please go to the PACT website

The preliminary testing process is usually completed in just one day, and consists of both a physical agility and written assessment.  Scoring on the written portion will determine the applicant’s ranking on the eligibility list.  Five points for military service will be added to passing scores of qualified applicants.  Testing is offered approximately every six months.

Pre-Applicants for most positions will be subject to a comprehensive background investigation, an oral interview board, a one-on-one interview (or interviews), a polygraph examination, psychological evaluation and physical examination including a drug screening prior to employment.

Interested persons should contact Officer Bill Hudgins by telephone at 817.503.1213, by email at bhudgins@colleyvlle.com  or in person at the Colleyville Justice Center, 5201 Riverwalk Dr. Colleyville Texas 76034.
