The City of Colleyville is proud to sponsor the events and activities of the community’s non-profit organizations. The City promotes sponsored events through its communication channels including the website.
If you’re with a non-profit organization and interested in having your event sponsored by the City of Colleyville please submit the official Non-Profit Event Sponsorship form.
To receive sponsorship, the non-profit group must be a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) organization that is either based in Colleyville, demonstrates it directly serves Colleyville residents, or receives funding from the City agency agreements.

8th Annual Run for Rescue
First United Methodist Church of Colleyville is hosting its 8th annual Run for Rescue.
This event features a 5K Run/Walk and 1-mile Fun Run. The event is open to all levels of runners and walkers and participants can bring leashed dogs. There is also a pancake breakfast for all.
Proceeds from the event go to support the Child Rescue Centre and Mercy Hospital. The funds are used to enable members of First United Methodist Church of Colleyville to travel to Sierra Leone to work in the Child Rescue Centre and to enable the work of the Centre and Mercy Hospital to thrive.
Friends of the Colleyville Public Library Bargain Book Sale
Friends has been collecting used books and materials from the community and will be selling these materials at its annual Bargain Book Sale at the Colleyville Public Library on Saturday, May 6. The sale runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the library’s second floor. There will be private shopping hours for members of Friends from 9:00-10:00 a.m. (Memberships will be available at the door.) There will be a wide variety of books, CDs, videotapes and DVDs available for sale. Hard cover books will sell for $1 and paperbacks will be $.50.
The organization’s mission is to promote the interests and welfare of the library as a cultural, educational, and community asset to the city of Colleyville.
