Are you interested in volunteering at the public library? Do you need community service hours for school?
Volunteer opportunities are available to teens ages 13-19. To volunteer, first fill out an application online at the link below. You will receive a an email with a parent permission form attached. Have it signed by a parent if you are under 18 and return it to the library prior to attending one of the training sessions. Training sessions are mandatory and last about 1.5 hours.

VOLUNTEER POSITION TITLE: Colleyville Public Library VolunTEEN
DEPARTMENT: Library VOLUNTEER LOCATION: Colleyville Public Library
HOURS: 2 hour shifts available
DESCRIPTION: Shelve books, set up for special events, help with story time, help with children's programs and parties, prepare materials, serve refreshments, etc.
REQUIREMENTS: 13-19 years old. No criminal record. No experience needed.
TEEN COURT VOLUNTEERS: Must attend mandatory training prior to volunteering. No theft, assaults or disorderly conduct.
TRAINING: Must attend one training session. See schedule above. Additional training will be provided as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Indoors.
