Gas Well Drilling Ordinance

On January 3, 2012 the Colleyville City Council approved amendments to the city’s gas well drilling regulations found in Chapter 3.1 of the Land Development Code. 

Originally adopted in 2006, these regulations contain comprehensive requirements for any gas wells that may locate within the city.  In keeping up with industry trends and rapidly changing environmental issues, the January 3 amendments mark the fifth time the regulations have been updated since 2006.
