Colleyville citizens have an easy way to report non-emergency concerns with E-Tips. Common uses include reports of code violations, solicitors, loose dogs and suspicious activity that is not criminal in nature. To use E-Tips, simply send an email to Tips@Colleyville.com. Remember to provide as much information as possible including: date, time and nature of the issue or incident. Photographs and videos can be attached.
The E-Tips system is not manned and does not generate an immediate response. In the event of an emergency, residents are reminded to call 9-1-1.
“E-Tips is a convenient way for Colleyville residents to report non-emergency issues,” said Chief of Police/Public Safety Director Mike Holder. “But, it’s essential to remember it is never a substitute for 9-1-1 in an emergency.”
Chief Holder is an advocate of citizen involvement in managing community issues. “Police-community partnerships can be excellent collaborations that allow residents to become more invested in their city, improve the quality of life, and help reduce crime,” says Holder. “E-Tips is another tool citizens can use to proactively address concerns before they escalate to more serious problems.”
