Winter Months Sewer Calculations

The city Of Colleyville uses the winter months' average of December, January, and February for sewer calculations. We average the water used at this time to set your sewer rate for the year.

If you have no preceding winter months' usage with the city, we use an average of 7,000 gallons as set by city ordinance. We ask during the winter months, please be aware of all unnecessary water usage, dripping faucets, leaking toilets, etc.

A monthly charge in the amount of $8.60 shall be assessed to all customers.

A monthly volume charge in the amount of $1.82 per 1,000 gallons of water used over and above 2,000 gallons without limitations shall be assessed to all customers. This is based on the volume charge for residents according to each individual customer's average monthly water used during the preceding winter months of December, January, and February.
