L.D. Lockett House Gets a Facelift

Since August 2004, more than 1,800 people of all ages have enjoyed more than 390 classes at the L.D. Lockett House. As happy as this made them, all the traffic took a toll on the outward appearance of this once vibrant facility.
"Surgery" was both eminent and welcomed.
In summer 2007, L.D. Lockett underwent major renovations complete with full indoor and outdoor repainting, dance mirrors and rails, wall-to-wall hardwood flooring, upgraded lighting, professional audio installation, security enhancements, a complete restroom overhaul and added storage.
