Colleyville, Texas City Hall
5 Million Gallon Ground Storage Tank
Project Description – With the rapid growth of the community and extremely high water consumption per capita, the five million gallon ground storage tank will provide necessary potable water storage capacity as the City approaches build-out conditions. The 5 million gallon ground storage tank and pump station, located in Reagan Park on L.D. Lockett Road.  This facility will be constructed as a 150 ft diameter concrete tank with an overall depth of 46 feet.  However, the design of these improvements is intended to consider the proximity of the facility in relation to the surrounding residential neighborhood.  As a result, the tank will be buried 12 ft below ground level, effectively reducing the visible height to 34 feet.  In addition, an earthen berm with screening trees and other aesthetic landscaping will be placed around the tank to create a more natural setting in the community.

Project Status – Construction is underway and is scheduled to be complete by Septmenber 2008.
