Colleyville, Texas…The city of Colleyville has scheduled a Citizen Budget Education Day on Saturday, Aug. 12 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Colleyville Center. The annual event provides citizens with an opportunity to review the city’s proposed budget for the coming fiscal year (Oct. 1 – Sept. 30).

Representatives from each city department will be on hand with informational displays about budgeted departmental activities. The Citizen Budget Education Day is conducted in a “come and go” format for the convenience of Colleyville citizens.

A budget summary is available on the city’s website at Colleyville.com or at the Colleyville Public Library. A complete copy of the preliminary FY2007 budget is available through the city secretary’s office.
