| Colleyville students win recycling grants |

Colleyville, Texas…Keep America Beautiful, in conjunction with Keep Colleyville Beautiful, has awarded three Colleyville schools grants totaling $2,500. The schools were chosen in recognition for their participation in the Students for Recycling program. Students from the winning schools are slated to participate in Keep Colleyville Beautiful’s annual Clean Sweep event on April 28. Students currently are collection #1 and #2 plastics to compete nationally in a plastics recycling contest, which ends May 31. Top schools may win an additional $1,000 gift card from Sam’s Club, and 100 recycled backpacks. |
