Project Description
Two-inch mill and overlay, with repairs of any failed sub-grade. Removal of two inches of existing asphalt surface by a milling method and application of a hot mix asphalt surface back to original grade. Streets included in this project are: The following streets are schedule for rehabilitation through the Mill and Overlay Program: Greenbriar Lane San Bar Lane (3716 San Bar Lane (211 Greenbriar Lane to to dead end) San Bar Lane) Greenbriar Lane - Street Condition Rating: C Street has aged to a point that initial maintenance activity is required and some cracking exists, requiring routine sealing. Existing joints are sealed as necessary. San Bar Lane - Street Condition Rating: D Random base and sub-grade failures are evident in both concrete and asphalt streets. The existing roadway has extensive surface patches due to weather main breaks, franchise utility repair of existing facilities and prior construction improvements. Random drainage issues are identified, including surface ponding, inadequate street grades or damage to existing drainage facilities. Repair of existing surface failures and placement of an asphalt level up and overlay over concrete and asphalt streets is necessary to extend service life of the street.
