Databases

The Colleyville Public Library offers a number of databases for use by registered borrowers via the library’s catalog website. Borrowers will need to enter their library card number and personal identification number (PIN) to gain access to these databases through this site.
The general public may access the CPL databases from the public internet computers in the library.

Texshare Databases

Available to Texas library patrons with a valid library card and password. Contact your home library for more information. Contains full-text information from books, journals, magazines, and newspapers.

Auto Repair Reference Center

Provides repair instructions and schematics for most automobiles from 1970 to 2002. Certain models and makes are also available back to 1954.

Novelist

Provides information on books, authors, and book reviews. Contains material for all ages, from toddlers to adults.

Grolier Online

An educational portal providing access to information from many reliable sources. Targeted at Middle and High School students.

America the Beautiful

Provides history about states, as well as current event topics for elementary and middle school aged children.

Lands & Peoples

This educational encyclopedia provides information about countries, cultures, and current events. Each article describes a country's people, land, economy, history, and government.

Opposing Viewpoints

Enables users to find information on social issues. Contains viewpoints, articles, topic overviews, statistics, links to websites, and full-text magazine and newspaper articles.

Learn-A-Test

Provides online practice tests and tutorials designed to help students and adult learners succeed on academic or licensing tests.

TAKS Preparation Program

Offers study aids and practice exams for the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) exams taken by students’ grades 3-11.

Writing Skills Improvement

Contains information about public and private American companies. Data can be sorted by geography, business size, and type of business. Go to website now!

Value Line Research Center

In library use only. The Value Line Research Center includes access to Value Line's leading publications covering stocks, mutual funds, options and convertible securities, exchange traded funds (ETFs), and special situation stocks.
