Voter Registration
In order to register to vote, you must be
  • U.S. citizen,
  • at least 17 years, 10 months old to register, and must be 18 years of age by election day
  • a resident of Texas, and
  • a resident of the local precinct
To register to vote, you may obtain a voter registration card at City Hall, the library or online at:
City Hall is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The telephone number is 817.503.1130.

Your registration is permanent unless you move out of your precinct or fail to vote at least once in four consecutive years. If you move within the city, you must notify the registrar in writing. If you move from one jurisdiction to another within Texas, write the registrar in your new location or contact your previous registrar to transfer by mail. Cards must be postmarked 30 days prior to the city election date.
