Solicitor Permit Guidelines |
$100 non-refundable application fee for first person and $50 for each additional person involved.
- $10,000 bond required (surety bond)
- Permit good for 30 days unless chief of police authorizes additional time.
- Processing takes at least two working days
- Soliciting hours: 9:00 a.m.-4:30p.m. (no exceptions)
- FOOD VENDORS must have a current health inspection certificate.
- If “No Soliciting” sign is posted, DO NOT make contact with resident or business
- Applicant must provide a VALID state-issued ID or driver’s license, Military ID etc.
- Applicants are NOT allowed to solicit until you have received your actual permit with photo and fingerprint. While the application is being processed, you are not allowed to solicit until you are approved and have a permit on your person.
