Colleyville Police Department Application Process

The Colleyville Police Department will advertise any open positions on this website for at least 21 days. The Police Department may post information at the area police academies, on the Texas Municipal League website or in local newspapers.

Applications for positions at the Police Department will be accepted only at the Police Department Administrative Offices.

Applicants for most positions will be subject to an entrance-level examination, a comprehensive background investigation, an oral interview board, a one-on-one interview (or interviews), a polygraph examination, psychological evaluation and physical examination including a drug screening prior to employment.
