Patrol officers constitute the largest source of uniformed personnel within the department. The Patrol Division has primary responsibility for delivering routine, essential, and emergency police service within Colleyville.

Patrol officers share a high degree of commitment and pride to both their profession and community. The division's goal is to effectively reduce the fear of crime and its frequency within Colleyville. Seven days a week, patrol officers answer calls for service, respond to citizens' needs, engage in problem-solving activities, and promote traffic safety.
