Colleyville, Texas City Hall
Overview
The Colleyville Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is dedicated to a comprehensive and coordinated effort to mitigate the effects of a hazard.
The Colleyville OEM is in place to prepare for fundamental measures that will preserve life and minimize damage, respond to hazard or disaster events by providing the necessary assistance and emergency support functions, and establish a recovery system that will return the community to its normal state of affairs.

The Colleyville OEM employs an all-hazards approach to emergency management, which means planning and preparing for disasters of all kinds, including severe weather events, public health emergencies, hazardous material spills, and terrorist attacks. While maintaining an all-hazards approach, the OEM is focused on those hazards that pose the greatest threat to Colleyville, such as severe weather events (lightning, hail, high winds, and tornados).

The OEM for Colleyville works in close collaboration with many other city departments (Fire, Police, EMS, Public Works, Parks and Recreation), as well as neighboring jurisdictions, and state and federal partners.
