The Engineering Department provides excellence in the
guidance and direction of all planning, design, and construction of capital and
development projects in the City of Colleyville,

The engineering department also houses the GIS division. GIS Stands for Geographic Information Systems. They combine location information; such as where a manhole is located, with tabular data; such as type and size of manhole. GIS also provides analysis, maps, web mapping, and GPS services to all departments.
