Welcome to Colleyville
Once a rural farming community, Colleyville has become a perennial favorite on the “best of…” lists in Dallas and Fort Worth, across Texas, and around the nation. Money magazine named the city to its list of “Best 100 Places to Live in America,” awarding it the highest ranking in Texas. Colleyville’s small town ambiance and big city amenities continue to earn it a place on the “best” lists of popular publications, including Newsweek and D Magazine.

Alarm Permit Renewals
  In 2007, the city of Colleyville instituted an annual $25 alarm permit fee. The permitting fee went into effect in January 2007, so it soon may be renewal time for many Colleyville residents and businesses. To renew, simply submit an updated application with the $25 fee. 
  Fees may be included with water bill payments, but must be made with a separate check. Payment may also be made in person at the Utility Billing Department on the first floor of City Hall, 100 Main Street. Checks should be payable to the city of Colleyville. Street Capital Improvement Program
Road quality has an impact on every Colleyville resident, business, and visitor—affecting property values; business, school, and residential accessibility; and the quality of life of our citizens. The Street Capital Improvement Program (CIP) encompasses projects that maintain or improve Colleyville’s roadway infrastructure.
  With a population that has increased by more than 50 percent since the early 1990s, it is imperative that the city maintain and build its street infrastructure to meet the demands of a growing residential and commercial population.

City holiday fest returns on new night

Celebrate Colleyville, the city’s traditional holiday festival, is moving to Friday, Dec. 5, from 4:00-10:00 p.m. The move gives Colleyville a 1-2-3 holiday punch that weekend, with Celebrate Colleyville at center stage Friday evening, followed by the Colleyville Lions Club Breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning, Dec. 6; and the Colleyville Woman’s Club’s Holiday Home Tour on Sunday, Dec. 7.

  The Celebrate Colleyville event heralds in its evening debut with a giant snow hill ride, providing Texas kids with a chance to tube down a rolling, icy slope sure to rival any found in colder climates. Also new this year is the Mind Winder, a spinning spectacle of holiday fun, suitable for all ages.
