According to city ordinance, all automatic irrigation systems in the city must be fitted with rain and freeze sensors by August 2008. To encourage compliance with the ordinance, the City Council has granted a one-time $20 rebate (credit) on customer water bills. | |

 The Colleyville Parks and Recreation Department broke attendance records with its summer program schedule. And the fall recreation program promises new classes, as well as lots of proven favorites. Fitness boot camps are all the rage as a fun way to lose weight and get strong—and Colleyville PARD has lined up one of the best in the area. Fitness boot camps start Sept. 2. Zumba!, StrollerFit—Exercise with your Baby, Hula and Tahitian Dance, yoga, and Tai Chi classes are just some of the ways to get in shape to improve your mind and body. There’s something for everyone, from music to painting and rock climbing to fall sports activities. Fall is time for something new and the Colleyville Parks and Recreation Department has something for you.
